Background
In 1948, a local farmer donated land to the Parish of Letcombe Regis for recreational purposes. This land is managed by the Village Trust and leased to the various village clubs. Established in 1977, the riding club offers a unique community equestrian facility.
In 2015, planning permission was granted for a 30x50m arena, funded through committee and member efforts, local support, and generous donations, the arena was completed in 2017 and officially opened by Clare Balding.
The club's aims are to support current and future riders, promote participation in equestrian activities, enable riders to reach their potential, and provide a safe, year-round training facility.
Thanks to dedicated committee work, the club (we are not for profit) can offer the use of this unique facility to the equine community at a budget friendly cost.
We look forward to welcoming you and that you come and enjoy the facility in its unique Downland setting.
